San Jose, California, August 18, 2020 – Seminole Electric Cooperative, a not-for-profit electric cooperative serving approximately 1.8 million consumers in 42 of Florida’s 67 counties has begun to implement Sun-Net Inc.’s iTOA® software suite.
Seminole is one of the largest G&Ts in the country. It has nine Member distribution electric cooperatives that they provide essential wholesale services to. Seminole purchases power as well as owns and operates power plants. They own and maintain 350 miles of transmission lines.
Seminole will be one of the pioneers in utilizing the subscription model on iTOA Cloud. iTOA Cloud is a secure web-based platform managed by Sun-Net. With iTOA Cloud, Seminole will be able to standardize and achieve a digital transformation to their current processes. iTOA will provide them with the state-of-the-art outage request scheduling, switching and logging capabilities. In future, iTOA will also integrate with FRCC’s system to submit outages automatically.
