San Jose, California October 26, 2015 – San Jose based Sun-Net, specializing in developing operations software tools for the utility industry, announced that MNP(Minnesota Power) has purchased Sun-Net’s iTOA® software suite.
Minnesota Power a division of Allete Inc., is a utility company based in Duluth, Minnesota. The company serves electricity to 144,000 residents across a 26,000 square mile service territory in Northern Minnesota. Along with producing power at its hydro stations and coal-fired plants, Minnesota Power is also investing in energy created from wind and biomass.
“Minnesota Power has engaged Sun-Net to develop and deliver the iTOA® suite software to support Minnesota Power Transmission, Distribution operations and compliance needs. iTOA® suite will also provide Minnesota Power direct integration with Midwest ISO scheduler”. said Helen Hu, president of Sun-Net.
